I tossed this item in the garbage within five minutes of looking at it......

I knew buying this, I wasn't purchasing a high quality piece of jewlery, but a couple thoughts ran through my mind when I received it and read " Made in China" in bold letters ON THE ITEM.....

Maybe it won't offend most, but I think it's ridiculous to sell someone a CELTIC CROSS with the words MADE IN CHINA embedded in it.

This item is terrible. I'm sorry for those who bought it, but I wouldn't pay $10 for it.

The chain is rickety and too small for a guy. The back of the medallion says "China" in huge letters.

I can't believe I have to pay 5 bucks to return this thing... Very disappointed in Amazon today. Guess I should have spent more time reading the other comments on this item.

I have owned and loved -really really loved -this celtic cross necklace for a little more than two years now. I bought it for the pendant, not the chain, so I ditched the chain and wore it on a black cord. I've purchased many a celtic piece of jewelry over the years, particularly crosses. THIS ONE WAS MY FAVORITE...UNTIL NOW. What I at first thought was a wee bit of tarnishing has turned out to be a base metal that has had silver plating rubbed off with normal wear. My soft polishing cloth wasn't working, so I took a closer look and discovered the awful truth. Makes me sad, because not only is it the end of one of my favorite pieces of jewelry, but it means that the claim of "sterling silver" (as even stamped on the back!) was a full-out fraud. C'mon, Amazon, you can do better than this!

A Great item. Just as described. Cross perfect size. Love it. Beautiful piece of jewelry for the price. Made in China. So if that does not bother you, it is a worthwhile purchase.
