Much larger than expected. The color of the garnets are more in red color than a darker red

I would like it better if it were more of a darker in color, but its a pretty cross.

I was rather impressed with the look and quality of this pendant, but more importantly, it was a hit with my wife as a Christmas present. She has worn it extensively in the two weeks since opening. The checkerboard cut really gives it a brilliance that you typically don't see with Garnet.
