The cross is very nice, and has a good weight to it. My teenage son loves it. The chain is not my favorite. It is sturdy, but I guess I was expecting something heavier. The price is mainly for the cross, because the cross is well made and substantial.

It is a really simple and well finished product. Came well packed from amazon. And i wasn't afraid to order it as amazon is a trusted seller.

I mean the chain is ok and for the size of the cross it seems to be correct. However depending on your taste you may want a thicker bigger one, which you can order separately. However i could not fi d any from amazon and its hard to trust most jewelers unless u see it beforehand.

Exactly as pictured and the only thing i would say negative about is the price which could be a touch 20 bucks cheaper but then its very cute hehe.

I have a passion for crosses, crucifix, etc., and so when I saw this one, I just had to have it. I was expecting something bigger, but I soon got over that disappointment. The chain is flimsy, but I beleive that was just thrown in. It is a nice cross that I have caught people sneakingly give a second look. I like it, the price can't be beaten, and it would make lovely gifts for the ladies. Put a decent chain on it, and people would think that you spent a fortune on it. I bought this for my Mother for Mother's Day. I thought long and hard before the big day of what to get her. I even asked her out-right, and still didn't have any idea what to get her. I originally wanted a nice and SIMPLE (key word) cross necklace that I would be able to wear. One that would have the solemness yet stand out in its beautifully simple appearance. And it had to be larger than my thumbnail. I have been searching for over a half a year for that perfect necklace and was seriously considering hiring a jewler to custom make me a plain simple cross made of metal.

I found cheap knock offs that were made of sub-par, cheap alloys, but that simply wouldn't suffice. I wanted something sturdy and not spray painted. I wanted it to stand the test of time, sweat, mud and whatever else I went through in my days at Cal Poly. I am an animal science major and am somewhat of a mix between an urban dweller and outdoors cowboy. So I like my jewlery (which only consists of my watch and necklace)...masculine. **please note that precious metals are malleable (flexible) and while this won't bend if you have a bad fall or sleep on itit will bend if you try and purposefully test its flexibility! I did this thinking it would be as strong as stainless steel and in my ignorance, bent it. I was able to bend it back, but thought I should warn those (mostly younger gen people like myself) so they can prevent this from happening to them. ;)

This Cross pendant is simply gorgeous. It is sterling silver, like the chain it comes with and is actually very large when compared to the tiny things you see at department stores. And this also is not one of those bricks you wear around your neck. It is plain (no chrome, antiqueing, special finish, etc). I am currently trying to find something to relate to the size of this cross as far as thickness goes, becuase while I would find a decent plain cross, the thickness of it would be laughable. One bad turn in bed and I would unquestionably bend that paper-thin sterling silver cross. So this is where this *Bob Siemon Cross* comes in! It has the thickness of 7 sheets of lined paper! (very good and considering its pricevery fair). I have slept with this on in bed and it has remained strong every time. I also LOVE how the ring that allows the chain to go through itis on the BACK of the cross!!! This is soo awesome and makes the cross look even more elegant! It is a small loop on the back of the cross which allows for a chain much larger than the one provided. Though the loop itself is really tastefull and does not bulge out! It adds to the cross.

The chain is also very nice! It is a 20" sterling silver *curb chain* and the clasp is a *spring ring* type. Google image both of these for better detailed pictures. I think these are actually very gender neutral and modest. For men, the whole thing looks great without looking like an armenian gangster or just like one of those men who wear the type of jewlery to go with their tinted carsif you know what I mean.

Now one thing I need to inform you is that I returned this product once before being satisfied with it. The first product looked a little different from the product image. One side of the cross was significantly wider than the other side (not thicker). The bottom of the cross was also thicker than the rest of the cross. In short, I believe the manufacturer had a bad batch and had a couple of really off products sent to amazon. Just konw that it should look pretty darn close to what the product image looks like and SEND IT BACK if it isn't! It's our responsibility to get what we are paying for and for $50 you should get the perfection that was intended to be sold to you. Goodluck and I hope you find the cross that truly is meant for you. :)

The chain is silver, the cross is NOT! While the design is beautiful, upon wearing, it became apparent that once the silver coating wore off, the cross was not silver. I own mostly silver jewellery and always look out for good pieces. This one is so Not silver. And it belongs to the Amazon Curated collection??

By the time i realised this was not silver it was too late to send in a complaint. Can Amazon revert?

This crucifix was just as decribed by other viewers...Manificent Piece!! I will be ordering quite a few more because my sunday school teens all want one! this one was given to my son who loves it. I ordered the cute sideways cross necklace, 16 inches long, for my teen daughter. I ordered it on Sunday night, and it arrived by Wednesday afternoon. Very impressed with the speed of shipping, considering that it was free shipping with purchase over $25. The necklace arrived in a small plastic bag, enclosed in a gold-colored cardboard jewelry box, encased in a large ziploc bag, which was then enclosed in a plastic bubble wrap mailer. I ordered the sterling silver, and it is very shiny and in superb condition. My daughter was very pleased with it, and immediately put it on. The 16 inches long chain falls just underneath her tshirt collar. It is a bit fragile-looking, the chain is not ultra-thin, but care will be needed to make sure it doesn't break. The cross is delicate, not very thick. I love the look of it, I like delicate jewelry. This probably wouldn't be good for young children, since they might accidentally break it. The length can be extended a bit because it has, I don't know what its called, extra length with small links to place the clasp to the length you wish. We just received it, so time will tell how well it holds up. As of this moment, however, I am extremely pleased with this product and would buy from Claddagh Gold again.

I just received this necklace in the mail today (it arrived 3 days early!) and I could not be any more pleased with my purchase! I'm so glad that I decided to get this particular one that has a bit of a curve in it because it lays very nicely on my neckline. It's a really nice necklace, but it had a tag on the clasp "Made in Thailand". I tried to cut this tag off, and had the scissors positioned away from the necklace, just around the tag. When I squeezed the scissors, the clasp came off with the tag. I had to do my best to fix this. I'm giving the necklace to a loved one for Christmas, and just don't like that the tag made the clasp become in worse condition.

I had been looking on Amazon for a cross for a long time, trying to find one that appealed to me. When delving into the sterling silver section of my search, I found this beauty. Seeing it had my favorite scripture on it, I immediately bought it!

The type of clasp might frustrate some people, but you just have to be able to put the loop on it at the right angle and you'll be fine. So far, the chain has remained pretty and bright and seems to be very sturdy.

The pendant is beautiful! The front is well done and on the back, the words are VERY clear (which was something I was worried about when I bought it) and very easy to read.

It's altogether a beautiful necklace and I think it would make an awesome gift!

This little pendent is totally adorable and perfect for my 9yr old niece! It's the perfect size and length for a little girl and the etching is priceless! This will completely fit my goal of recognizing my niece for her help when her mother saved a baby great horned owl, cared for it and returned it to it's own environment! They had even named the baby owl "Hoots" . . . what are the odds?? It's very nicely made and will remind her of her good deed!
