After reading some of the not-so-glowing comments, I didn't expect much. I was quite surprised! The cross has a nice weight to it. Mine was not shallow or off-center. I don't mind that the ring background isn't filled in. That makes it rather unique. I actually look forward to the tarnish appearing, which indicates the presence of true silver. Another surprise was the black cord. It's length is adjustable! At it's longest it's 32 inches in length. Pull the two knots at the nape of the neck to make the length shorter, down to 17 inches. Nice!. The cord is braided and lightly lacquered, like a good shoelace. Very comfortable and not irritating to the skin. It's worth the price! BTW, a business card and a velvet-type drawstring jewelry bag was all that was in the package with this necklace. No note to add a positive review!

This is one of the coolest necklaces I have ever worn! The leather strap truly is genuine leather, and adjusting it to your preference takes so little effort. Also comes with a standard metal chain in case leather isn't your style.

If ever there was a complaint with this necklace (which doesn't affect my rating at all), it's the phrase that's on the charm: "I feel about you | makes my heart | lone to be free". Likely a poor translation job, but the meaning still holds true for me.

It took just over a week for this necklace to arrive, which is exceptional, considering the seller is in China! This is a beautiful necklace that is well worth the original price without the huge discount (bought mine for about $12 with shipping and handling fees). This necklace is totally worth every penny!

I am eons past my rocker/hippy-dippy years, but I like to think I am still a young sun god and wear subversive bracelets (a former yoga teacher of many years, I feel qualified to wear some handsome and, apparently, ultra cool wrist malas) and necklaces. This one, however, horrified my wife. I believe she's thinks I appear, uh, inauthentic, or ridiculous, wearing it. I don't think she was making a comment on the necklace. I like it. We're going to the beach in late May, where it is impossible to look inauthentic, and, as a young sun god, I'll proudly wear it then.

This is a great necklace, i get compliments on it all the time. However, i must warn anyone who buys this; the weld that holds the cross to the chain is microscopic and poorly done. Any serious tug on it will cause it to break. (I caught mine on my shirt while taking it off) they last a good while if your careful but ive broken two now and getting them proffesionally rewelded costs about as much as the thing is worth. Great necklace but you've been warned.

I love this necklace! I love the look of this and my hubby got me a different one for Christmas last year. It was so flimsey that by Easter it was broken. Well, this one is so much better than the other one! I really love it! It is so sturdy and great. I can already tell that it will last much longer because it is made so much better. The shipping took a while, but mine was custom because I wanted the cross off to the side so I guess it should take longer. I would order this again in a second. UPDATE: Been wearing the necklace for months now. Cross stays nicely in the front (other necklace was always backwards). Still VERY happy with purchase.
