This item was an excellent bargain for the cost. It arrived extremely quick. I also appreciated the safe, quality packaging that it came in. The Cross was in brilliant beautiful, very vibrant, and flawless condition. I love it so much ,and, I must thank Amazon for their care and concern for customer satisfaction. I would also give my opinion that the piece is nearly a work of art. I originally wanted a nice and SIMPLE (key word) cross necklace that I would be able to wear. One that would have the solemness yet stand out in its beautifully simple appearance. And it had to be larger than my thumbnail. I have been searching for over a half a year for that perfect necklace and was seriously considering hiring a jewler to custom make me a plain simple cross made of metal.

I found cheap knock offs that were made of sub-par, cheap alloys, but that simply wouldn't suffice. I wanted something sturdy and not spray painted. I wanted it to stand the test of time, sweat, mud and whatever else I went through in my days at Cal Poly. I am an animal science major and am somewhat of a mix between an urban dweller and outdoors cowboy. So I like my jewlery (which only consists of my watch and necklace)...masculine. **please note that precious metals are malleable (flexible) and while this won't bend if you have a bad fall or sleep on itit will bend if you try and purposefully test its flexibility! I did this thinking it would be as strong as stainless steel and in my ignorance, bent it. I was able to bend it back, but thought I should warn those (mostly younger gen people like myself) so they can prevent this from happening to them. ;)

This Cross pendant is simply gorgeous. It is sterling silver, like the chain it comes with and is actually very large when compared to the tiny things you see at department stores. And this also is not one of those bricks you wear around your neck. It is plain (no chrome, antiqueing, special finish, etc). I am currently trying to find something to relate to the size of this cross as far as thickness goes, becuase while I would find a decent plain cross, the thickness of it would be laughable. One bad turn in bed and I would unquestionably bend that paper-thin sterling silver cross. So this is where this *Bob Siemon Cross* comes in! It has the thickness of 7 sheets of lined paper! (very good and considering its pricevery fair). I have slept with this on in bed and it has remained strong every time. I also LOVE how the ring that allows the chain to go through itis on the BACK of the cross!!! This is soo awesome and makes the cross look even more elegant! It is a small loop on the back of the cross which allows for a chain much larger than the one provided. Though the loop itself is really tastefull and does not bulge out! It adds to the cross.

The chain is also very nice! It is a 20" sterling silver *curb chain* and the clasp is a *spring ring* type. Google image both of these for better detailed pictures. I think these are actually very gender neutral and modest. For men, the whole thing looks great without looking like an armenian gangster or just like one of those men who wear the type of jewlery to go with their tinted carsif you know what I mean.

Now one thing I need to inform you is that I returned this product once before being satisfied with it. The first product looked a little different from the product image. One side of the cross was significantly wider than the other side (not thicker). The bottom of the cross was also thicker than the rest of the cross. In short, I believe the manufacturer had a bad batch and had a couple of really off products sent to amazon. Just konw that it should look pretty darn close to what the product image looks like and SEND IT BACK if it isn't! It's our responsibility to get what we are paying for and for $50 you should get the perfection that was intended to be sold to you. This is a beautiful cross. I like having the vale behind the cross as it is more secure on the chain. It looks fine on the 20" chain, and the chain is durable. However, I wanted the cross to hang slightly lower, so I bought a 24" silver chain for it.

I love the size and feel of this cross but, after about five days it is turning every color but silver, what ever it is made of is not what I expected. I wear it everyday and seems not to be turning darker as much as it was. I still love it

The chain is silver, the cross is NOT! While the design is beautiful, upon wearing, it became apparent that once the silver coating wore off, the cross was not silver. I own mostly silver jewellery and always look out for good pieces. This one is so Not silver. And it belongs to the Amazon Curated collection??

By the time i realised this was not silver it was too late to send in a complaint. Can Amazon revert?
