I actually display this on my combat vest here in Iraq. It even caused my platoon sergeant to tell me to take it off because it was offensive. Too bad for him, he didn't tell the guys wearing rosaries to take theirs off too.

I love the tarnished look and it's anti-reflective qualities allow me to wear it on my vest and not make me look like a gangsta with bling-bling.

My only complaint is that the leather cord it comes with was tied wrong so that no matter how I would wear it, the cross always flips backwards. I just used a different chain and it works fine.

It's cheaply made but looks more like dark, tarnished metal, which I like.

The cross itself is very pretty, but unfortunately the hoop broke off just days after being worn for the first time. It didn't take much effort at all, I just accidentally dropped it on some grass and the hoop broke off, so now I have no way of wearing it. It's very cheaply made, but the design is very nice, and there's no denying that's a beautiful piece of jewelry. Buy at your own risk.

This piece is beautiful. I originally ordered it to wear to my brother's wedding so I could scare his bride's extremely conservative catholic family, which I did and of course it had the desired effect. But I like this necklace so much, I intend to make it part of my permanent "uniform" as an expression of my lack of faith. The antique style design is great, along with the tarnished, non-reflective look. I love it.
