I bought this for my son's 18th birthday. He recently had a pretty important religous moment and asked for a gold cross. The silver ones are everywhere, but an affordable, quality gold one was very hard to find. I didn't want to spend too much money cause he hasn't worn a lot of jewelery and I was concerned it might get lost. I looked for hours to find the right size of cross, length of chain, stlye, and price. I was looking for an 18" chain but liked this cross enough that I just decided we could have the chain shortened. My hours of searching paid off. He loves it! At first he thought he might want to shorten the chain as I anticipated, but now he has decided this is the perfect length. It looks great on him and he wears it all the time.

It broke the first day I wore it. It was extremely cheaply made, and a complete waste of money. Junk
