We recently purchased this crucifix for our Grandson for his confirmation gift. We were very impressed with the quality & detail. The chain is cheap, but we only wanted the crucifix as he already has a nice chain which he will put the crucifix on. THE CROSS IS A NICE ITEM!! BUT, THE CHAIN INCLUDED IS NOT SILVER. ALSO DON'T BE FOOLED INTO THINKING THAT THE TOTAL WEIGHT OF THIS ITEM WHICH IS 13 GRAMS IS ALL SILVER, ITS NOT!!THE CROSS WEIGHTS IN @ 3.9 GRAMS AND IS STAMPED "STER" M USA.
THE CHAIN WEIGHTS IN @ 9.9 GRAMS AND IS STAINLESS STEEL (IMO-WORTHLESS).
COST COMES TO $12.56 PER GRAM OF SILVER.
