The chain was tarnished and the pendant was a little tarnished also. They provided a jewelry cloth, but that didn't do the trick.

I was worried that the pendant wouldn't lay nicely, but since they didn't provide a side view I thought I would give it a try. It did not lay flat, so you could see the back side of it. I returned it.

Attractive necklace, but so tiny it's hard to see. If we had known how small it was, we would not have purchased it.
