I purchased this for my daughter which is 28 years old I was not sure if she would like it or not but I loved it. When she opened it she put it on and it looked great with the other necklaces she had on. She fell in love with it and has yet to take it off.

This lovely cross is just fancy enough to attract attention, without being too frilly for everyday wear. The craftsmanship is superb, it's solid without being heavy and substantial without you constantly noticing it. The edges are finished smoothly; it does not hang up on or snag my clothing nor tangle in my long hair. It's a lovely everyday pieced dressed up a bit, but well worth the money.

Some designs just can't be improved with time. I looked at others and this tradional style struck me with its solid flowing lines. I took a chance that my daughter would agree and she loved it. It is a little heavier than most and feels substantial.

This cross is pretty. It's hollow on the back though. Disregard what a previous poster said about the photo being a picture of the backside it's NOT. This item was made in China, and although it's nice, I wouldn't have bought a cross from China had I known. Stamp says 'S 925', meaning it's Sterling silver, but it's rather lightweight, as is the rolo chain. It's fine for me because i'm not rough on my personal things. The cross is a good size (over an inch tall, NOT including the eye/bail), but the 18" long chain is too long for me (i'm petite). Unless i'm wearing a low v-neck top the cross is atop or under my shirt.

Someone else complained that there's arrived tarnished mine is so shiny that I question whether it's real sterling silver. It arrived in a black velvet bag with a box as well.
