My 10-year old son has enjoyed his cross. It lays nicely against his chest and doesn't flip over. It reminds him of a military dog tag with its matte finish and clean, simple design. The center hole for the bail could be more evenly centered.

The natural quality of the material to retain body heat was enhanced by its convex shape. After wearing it, when held in the hand it retains warmth. Only disappointment was that the cross was not polished stainless steel. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

Men's Stainless Steel Convex Cross Pendant Necklace, 22" This cross and chain are perfect for the guy that isn't into jewelry, but wants to be identified as a Christian. The cross is contemporary in design and not clunky and gaudy. The chain is just like the "dog tags" style that are used by the armed forces, and being that both the cross and the chain are stainless, they don't have to be removed while showering. My husband never takes his off, but he does wipe it down well after showering. It is the perfect cross necklace for a guy that has a laborious job and is very active. Nothing feminine about this one, but is a very handsome piece of jewelry.
