I am 61 yrs old and in the process of becoming Catholic (lifetime Baptist)....This rosary struck me as beautiful...although I can't use it without 'cheat sheets' yet, I find that there is a warming simplicity to its use...I also got several inquiries while in Cuba two weeks ago with questions like "what is that...?", a conversation opener about Jesus Christ...what could be better...??!!!

Very nice rosary. A bit more fragile than I expected. I received six and two were already broken. The cross of one had snapped and a few beads of the other had cracked during shipping. I don't think the padded envelope protected them much. But the seller was fantastic about it and had replacements shipped out asap. Hence the five stars. And the fact that everyone who received one from me was happy.

the description is incorrect. A rosary is never worn as a necklace, it is used to keep count of prayers. This rosary is very nicely constructed and holds up well. It would make a very nice gift and is most reasonably priced. I would highly recomment this rosary.

I gave this to my boyfriend as a temporary replacement for his other one that broke. But this one broke too......It wasn't the rope that broke, but the the wood part that says "Jesus", which was quite unfortunate because he really liked it. No wonder they were really cheap.
